About SandSpace

A blank space to think.

SandSpace started from a simple observation: most writing tools ask you to decide what you're making before you've even worked out what you want to say. A journal entry. A caption. A note. SandSpace skips that question. You open it, the page is blank, and you just start typing.

What it is

SandSpace is a quiet space for getting your thoughts down — feelings, fragments, drafts, things you don't have anywhere else to put. Once you've written something you want to keep, you can save it to your own space, and turn it into a downloadable image or PDF to share or hold onto, in whatever shape fits what you wrote — a square, a story, a page.

Why it's minimal

The blank canvas is the whole point. No folders to organize, no feed to scroll, nothing competing for your attention while you write. Everything else — accounts, plans, export options — stays out of the way until you actually need it.

Who it's for

Anyone who thinks better with a keyboard than a blank stare. People journaling privately, drafting something for social media, or just trying to get a feeling out of their head and onto a page before it goes somewhere. There's no wrong way to use the space.
